Explore corporate →Sip & Script brings modern calligraphy classes to Scottsdale, with workshops at local favorites like 3rd Avenue Grill in Old Town, Trevor's on McDowell Road in South Scottsdale, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Scottsdale, and Alter Ego Kitchen & Cocktails in nearby Tempe. Classes are led by Sharon Phillips, a Scottsdale calligrapher who trained in Copperplate at the Smithsonian and now teaches the relaxed modern style, and they're built for total beginners. No experience needed, and every supply is included, so you just grab a drink, pick up a pen, and start lettering. Whether you're looking for a creative night out, a unique date idea in Old Town, or a fun Sunday afternoon with friends in Scottsdale, you'll leave with finished pieces and a new skill. October brings pumpkin lettering and a Halloween-themed night in Old Town, November turns to place card lettering ahead of Thanksgiving, and December wraps up with hand-lettered gift tags. Classes run from Old Town and South Scottsdale down to Tempe.
