This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.
Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult and have a ticket themselves.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi, I’m Emily! I live in Fort Worth, Texas (aka Cowtown, Funkytown). I’m a native Texan, growing up in the Dallas area. I am an aspiring calligraphy business owner and showcase my art and calligraphy on Instagram @twobirdsartworks. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a passion for art: from drawing, scrapbooking, knitting, watercolor painting, and calligraphy, I’ve always dabbled in something creative! As a busy mom of two who works in the beauty industry as a lash artist, I treasure the time to slow down and do something just for myself. I enjoy doing calligraphy for all sorts of projects like unique place cards and event signage. I am also learning hand-engraving, adding a personalized touch to gifts like wine bottles and glasses, perfume, and candles. When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy reading, cooking, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling whenever I can! As a Sip & Script instructor, I hope to share the joy of calligraphy with others. It truly is a skill anyone can learn! Join me for a class and start adding your own personal touch to your projects and gifts. I can’t wait to meet you!
