Hi, I’m Emily! I live in Fort Worth, Texas (aka Cowtown, Funkytown). I’m a native Texan, growing up in the Dallas area. I am an aspiring calligraphy business owner and showcase my art and calligraphy on Instagram @twobirdsartworks. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a passion for art: from drawing, scrapbooking, knitting, watercolor painting, and calligraphy, I’ve always dabbled in something creative! As a busy mom of two who works in the beauty industry as a lash artist, I treasure the time to slow down and do something just for myself. I enjoy doing calligraphy for all sorts of projects like unique place cards and event signage. I am also learning hand-engraving, adding a personalized touch to gifts like wine bottles and glasses, perfume, and candles. When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy reading, cooking, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling whenever I can! As a Sip & Script instructor, I hope to share the joy of calligraphy with others.
