Sip & Script brings modern calligraphy and brush-lettering classes to southern Maine, with workshops at local favorites like Portland Beer Hub in Portland’s Old Port, Lambs in South Portland, Pacífico in Saco, The Bow in Lyman, and Ship’s Cellar Pub in York. Our classes are taught by local Maine instructor Pao Platt of Kittery Point and built for total beginners. No experience needed, and every supply is included, so you just grab a drink, pick up a pen, and start lettering. Whether you’re looking for a creative night out, a unique date night idea, or a fun activity with friends in Maine, you’ll leave with finished pieces and a new skill. Classes run year-round from Portland and South Portland down through Saco and Lyman to York, with pumpkin lettering and a Hocus Pocus class this October, place card and gift tag lettering in November, and ornament lettering for the holidays.
