Based in East Providence, Rhode Island, Melissa is a finance professional who balances the logic of her career with the fluid elegance of lettering. As a Sip and Script instructor, she is dedicated to sharing her love for the handwritten word and the rhythmic beauty of cursive. Her creative drive is fueled by the joyful chaos of a home shared with her two children, two dogs, and the occasional foster pet. Whether she is finding inspiration on a nature walk or sketching in a quiet coffee shop, Melissa views lettering as an essential outlet—a way to transform her fast-paced life into something tactile, artistic, and permanent.
