Hi, I’m Brittany from Brittany’s Calligraphy Studio! I’ve been practicing calligraphy for about 4 years now, although it has always been a passion of mine since I was young. I remember growing up watching one of my aunts write in calligraphy on holiday cards and I was so mesmerized by her writing. That’s when my love for beautiful letters began. Fast forward to when I became an adult, I was on maternity leave when I started binge-watching YouTube videos. I learned the proper strokes and went out that night to purchased professional tools and I haven’t put the pen down since! With my consistent practice, I became better and better, so much so that I was able to start my creative business Brittany’s Calligraphy Studio. I now specialize in glass engravings, event/business signage, and window lettering. I’m a Colorado native and love to work with other small businesses in my area to make their creative visions come to life. When I’m not writing or spending time with my family, I’m out in the city enjoying all it has to offer. I grew up in a city south of Denver but when I became an adult I moved out here and haven’t looked back since. I’m a total city girl and if it were up to me I would live smack dab in the middle of New York City and walk everywhere like in the show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Oh and by the way, yes I’m a complete F.R.I.E.N.D.S addict in case you were wondering. Being in this big beautiful city gives me the perfect opportunity to team up and Sip and Script as an instructor to spread the art of beautiful letters. I can’t wait to see you in class!
