Hi, I'm Dana! I'm a Nashville-based calligrapher specializing in hand-lettered paper goods, wedding signage rentals, and event activations.
My calligraphy journey started with a Sip and Script class in November 2021. I was working full-time, studying for an MBA in the evenings, and desperate for a hobby that didn't involve numbers or a computer. I saw a Sip and Script ad, remembered how much I enjoyed the calligraphy pens my fourth-grade teacher had given me, and signed up on a whim for a class in a few hours. To say I was hooked immediately would be an understatement.
I felt brave enough to share my work in January 2023 and Writing with Dana was born. Calligraphy has given me such a community, and I cannot wait to welcome you into it!
When I'm not working or lettering, you can find me reading, traveling, or enjoying the backyard with my husband, Morgan, and our rescue chiweenies, Willie and Georgie.
