This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Amanda has been drawing since before she could walk and has taken art classes since she was 5 years old, but it wasn't until 2018 when she picked up a pen and nib for the first time and fell in love with the art of calligraphy. She honed in on her skills and began teaching the following year. Today, she has taught over 100 classes and 1400 students! She lives her dream working full time as an artist, calligrapher, and designer. When she’s not in her studio, Amanda can be found watching HGTV with a glass of red wine in her hand and one of her 3 cats in her lap. Follow along with her on Instagram @xoartanddesign!
