Marjorie Politi

Hi, I’m Marjorie, the face behind Marjorie’s Letters, a calligraphy and design studio in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

After 25+ years in advertising and corporate creative, I spent my career immersed in brands, campaigns, pixels and presentations. Funny enough, that journey eventually led me back to the simplest creative tools of all: ink and paper.

Today, I bring that design experience to creating custom wedding invitation suites and all the thoughtful details that make a celebration special, from day-of wedding calligraphy and personalized signage to engraving and more.

I discovered calligraphy in 2017 and was hooked. As a lefty, it took plenty of smeared ink, messy hands and a few choice words to find my way. Along the way, I discovered something even better: how much I love sharing this art with others.

Today, I also teach calligraphy throughout my community and love bringing people together to learn, laugh, create and enjoy a little sip along the way. When I’m not lettering, I’m spending time with family and friends, enjoying life in the Hudson Valley, where my husband and I raised our two boys.
