Juana Rivera

Hi! I’m Juana, a lifelong artist, middle school art teacher, and the founder of Sunflowers Calligraphy/Art Studio, based in Yulee, Florida.

I discovered calligraphy in 2015 and instantly fell in love with the beauty, patience, and creativity it brings. What started as a personal passion has grown into a desire to share this timeless art with others. As a middle school art teacher, I’ve incorporated calligraphy into my lesson plans, introducing my students to this beautiful art form and watching their confidence and creativity flourish.

I know what it’s like to doubt your abilities because I once did too. That’s why my workshops are designed to be welcoming, encouraging, and fun for everyone—whether you’ve never picked up a pen or you’re looking to refine your skills.

When I’m not teaching in the classroom, you’ll find me helping others slow down, create something beautiful, and discover the joy and confidence that comes with learning calligraphy. I live in Yulee, Florida, and I'm excited to build a creative community through workshops, private events, and shared artistic experiences. I can’t wait to create with you!
