This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi Friend! I’m so happy you stopped by! I’m Heather, founder of LetterWORX. I’m a self-proclaimed typography geek, paper and pen fiend, written word fanatic and over-user of emoji’s. I can’t help it! I am not a Colorado Native, but I have been rooted in Northern Colorado since 2005. I’m happiest spending time boating and off-roading with family and friends, watching my daughter do her thing in competitive sports, laughing ‘till it hurts, and creating! I love good, authentic Mexican food, good music, anywhere with a beach and giant-breed pooches! I live with my hubby/best friend/high school sweetheart and our teenage daughter (she’s great!), along with our 2 dogs and backyard flock of chickens. We work hard and we play harder, always with a full plate and always up to something! I’ve been doing calligraphy seriously since 2019, but I have had a love for lettering and clean penmanship since I was a kid. I love to write - the flow of the ink, the shapes of the letters, the composition of a particular piece, the scratch of a nib on paper. Writing is my chill space. I love the simplicity of the process. I love having the opportunity to help commemorate something special for my clients, and I love teaching people that they are capable of beautiful hand-written pieces, too! Thanks for stopping by.
