This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.
Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Jennifer was first introduced to calligraphy by scrolling through Instagram during the early pandemic. She was immediately captivated by the intricate strokes forming beautiful words and phrases. It brought her back to a period when she would get excited about new school supplies, writing her name on any and everything in various styles using different pens and markers. She has always been a lover of arts and creative expression – from childhood until today. Fast forward to 2022, Jennifer decided to open up a separate Instagram account and start posting her calligraphy journey after taking a few online courses. Ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit is ingrained in her DNA; so the thought of turning her hobby into a business came naturally to her, especially after seeing the support she gained. Jennifer hopes to create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone and try out a new experience with these workshops.
