This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.


PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi!  My name is Stephanie, a modern calligrapher and engraver.  I was first introduced to calligraphy by taking a Sip & Script class as a fun girl's night out activity and fell in love with lettering instantly.  After my first calligraphy class, I spent the next couple of years practicing calligraphy and learning how to hand engrave any chance I had.  I am so excited to be a part of the Sip & Script team as an instructor where I have the opportunity to share this beautiful craft with others in the same way that I began my calligraphy journey (a truly exciting full circle moment!).  You can check out my work on Instagram and Facebook @scriptedbysteph.
Along with calligraphy and engraving, I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and soaking up the New England sunshine as much as possible.
