Good to Know

This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

My name is Megan, and I am the owner and calligrapher behind Blushing Calligraphy, a calligraphy and engraving studio specializing in weddings and events. I am based out of sunny Orange County, CA! I've been practicing calligraphy since 2016, and my business officially launched in 2020. Serving my couples is a huge joy, and it's an honor to have my work be included in weddings all over Southern California. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, and am a proud dog mom to my rescue pup, Jovie! When I'm OOO you can usually find me in Target or Trader Joe's, if I'm not at home snuggling with Jovie. I can't wait to see you in class!
